Mr Smiles here was quite pleased with
himself for having just tipped over the dirty diaper pail
Oscar got new shoes for his birthday, and though still a little big, he's pretty excited about them. When I ask him where he shoes are, he look around till he finds them and scurries off to bring them to me. He says "shoo . . . shoo" while he waves it around grinning from ear to ear.
And our little copy cat here is delighted with his nose blowing skills. He learnt a few weeks ago to put tissue up to his face and make a hissing noise with his mouth. Now he is getting the idea a bit more. He's certainly had lots of fine nose blowing examples from mama and mike the past week with some terrible colds. Somehow, he seems to have missed this one. We just have to teach him not to use the dish towel
At long last it seems winter is on it's way out and spring has moved in. There may still be ice on the lakes, but we are certainly enjoying the warmer weather. Oscar loves being outside. He gets pretty excited to put coat and shoes on because he knows it's time for an outing. He's lucky to have two parks just round the corner, both with slides the perfect size for him.
BB Clark Beach is a favorite virtually across the street and right on the lake so we can watch the ducks too.
and the hair is getting long and shaggy again too!
And much more enjoyable to just lay down on the ground for a diaper change
If it is a bit chilly out in the mornings, it's OK, Oscar has his fantastic eggplant knitted hat. He's much more tollerant of hats these days. He seems to have noticed that we wear them and now it's acceptable headware.
