Ohio part II: Oscar stops the plane on the runway

The second half of Oscars trip to Ohio was highlighted by visits from his Great Aunt Joyce, and Cousin Rachel and her son Dylan. (Rachel is technically Oscar's first cousin once removed, and Dylan would be his second cousin). So with two proud Grandma's in the house to dote on the two babes, the Mamma's got a bit of pampering themselves and enjoyed good food and lots of extra hands. Grandad felt a bit out numbered by the ladies and hid from the camera for a few days but continued the chess lessons and also gave some basic lessons in navigation.

Dylan, at eight months old, makes Oscar look soooo tiny. After meeting, Dylan tried to teach Oscar how to sit up on his own, but decided it would have to wait as Oscar seemed content to practice just lifting his head for now.

This blanket that Oscar is laying on was made by Aunt Joyce for Hannah when she was born.

Cute hey? Well, the folks on the 10:15 flight to Madison didn't think quite so much. Just as the plane started to taxi for the runway, little Oscar let one rip that turned heads several rows in each direction. In a moment "stuff" started to leak through all of his clothes, spread up the back of his head, and all over me. Mama had to ask the flight attended if she could change him. The plane stopped on the runway while i cleaned him up and we took off about 20 min late. He redeemed himself by sleeping sweetly the rest of the trip.
