Adult Party

A healthy start of spring snowstorm this weekend prevented Oscar from meeting most of his paternal cousins, aunt, and uncle. Last week he did meet his cousin Brittany on her spring break. You might notice a slight age differnece in these cousins.
Great Grandma at age 91 has a few years on Oscar too.

Happy 16th Birthday Tom!

As this was a 1950's theme party, Mike decided to shave his beard for a questionable mustache and shave some hair and liberally use pomade. Several compliments were given for the hair! Not so many for the mustache....

New Sweater

Here Oscar is showing off his new sweater that Grandma Spaul knitted for him with matching booties and a hat. It rather shames my own knitting, but hey, I made the kid so I'm off the hook for substandard knitting. At eight and a half pounds he fits it perfectly with just a bit of growing room to get through the last weeks of winter.

Oscar continues to spend his days in the eat, sleep, poop, repeat cycle but now gets occasional breaks to go for walks in his sling, and to have a bounce in his bouncy seat which he likes to have bounced (by an adult foot) to the beat of blue grass. He has also managed to attend several post natal yoga classes with mama, but seems more happy about the walk or the car ride to get there than me doing yoga poses over him.

Meeting new faces

Three weeks old!

Its been a busy social life for three week old Oscar. He met Grandma & Grandad who are visiting from Ohio this week. Hannah's good friend Kelly Jo was also in town for a visit, and Oscar and his buddy Alden met for the first time too. More photos of all his new friends will be posted soon.
